Device and system
prayd is currently iPhone-only. iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android versions are not listed. iOS 26 is required because the Fajr alarm uses Apple's AlarmKit framework.
Permissions
Screen Time permission is needed to shield chosen apps. Location is needed for local prayer-time calculation. Camera access is needed for prayer-mat and wake-up mission scans. Notifications support prayer alerts. iOS presents each permission and you can decline during onboarding.
If Screen Time is not connected
You can finish onboarding, but app shielding will not operate until Screen Time is authorised and at least one app or category is selected. See app-blocking troubleshooting.
Subscription
The app is free to download and includes in-app subscriptions. The live App Store page presents a seven-day trial and the price for your region before purchase.
