What a pause does
While a pause is active, covered prayers do not become outstanding and do not shield selected apps. The setting is available under Settings → Exemptions.
Neutral means neutral
Covered prayers do not break a streak, reduce a completion rate or appear as missed. They are not included in shared or exported surfaces. Menstruation can be open-ended, so the app does not ask someone to predict when it will end.
Private on the device
The reason and dates stay on the iPhone. prayd has no account or server receiving this information.
Scope
The feature responds to personal circumstances without pretending to decide them. Travel and illness can involve individual fiqh questions; prayd provides a pause control, while a qualified scholar provides religious guidance.
