Built on Apple's alarm system
The alarm uses AlarmKit on iOS 26. It is designed to sound through silent mode and Focus, subject to the permissions and system controls shown by iOS.
Choose the timing
The alarm is scheduled relative to the next calculated Fajr. You can set it from 30 minutes before to 60 minutes after Fajr.
Choose a mission
The default mission is scanning a sink, prompting you to get up for wudu. You can instead scan your prayer mat, solve a maths problem or use no mission.
If Fajr has passed
prayd schedules only against a future Fajr. If a snooze carries beyond the Fajr window, the app says so rather than treating the wake-up as an on-time success.
Troubleshooting
Check that the alarm is enabled, that the offset is what you intended, and that iOS permission is granted. If it fails, include your iPhone model and iOS version when contacting support.
